Meet The Doctors

Originally from Georgia, Dr. Dawson is excited to provide outstanding patient care right here in Charlotte, NC. Her love for restoring smiles began in high school when she had the opportunity to shadow a dentist. Observing the unique and lasting doctor-patient relationships that dentists hold and their ability to empower confidence with a healthy, radiant smile, she immediately knew she wanted to uplift others as a dentist.

Dr. Dawson credits her passionate and diligent work ethic to her significant background in gymnastics and competitive cheerleading, winning two state championships and one world championship in competitive cheerleading. This led her to the University of Oregon, a frontrunner and powerhouse in the sport of Acrobatics and Tumbling. After earning her Bachelor of Science degree, she achieved her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at Howard University College of Dentistry and completed her General Practice Residency (GPR) at NYU Lutheran Medical Center.

Today, Dr. Dawson is making a positive difference in the lives of her patients with high-quality, personalized dentistry in Mint Hill. She knows that dental visits can often feel intimidating, so she’s intentionally built her practice around optimal comfort and welcoming care. Kindhearted and personable, Dr. Dawson will go the extra mile to ensure every appointment is fun, relaxing, and informative.

When she’s not caring for patients, she enjoys traveling with her husband, reading self-improvement books, listening to podcasts, and playing with her pup! For Dr. Dawson, sports continue to be an essential part of her everyday life. You can catch her judging for Acrobatics and Tumbling meets, cheering on her favorite football teams, and keeping up with competitive gymnastics.
